Six 7th and 8th grade students traveled to SMSU in Marshall on February 1, 2024 to compete against 10 other schools in the MathCounts Competition. The competition consists of a Sprint Round where students work independently without a calculator, the Target Round which is a series of four tests where they work with a calculator, and a Team test where the students work together to solve ten questions. The ACGC mathletes came away with a "Most Improved School" trophy comparing our ranking to last year's performance.
