A Regular Meeting of the School Board of Independent School District #2396, Grove City, MN, was held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the ACGC MS/HS Media Center in Grove City.

The meeting was called to order by Morrison at 6:00pm.

Consent Agenda -Board approved Meeting Minutes from December 16, 2024 Truth in Taxation Hearing, Minutes from December 16, 2024 Regular School Board Meeting, Minutes from January 27, 2025 Reorganizational Meeting, Expenditures and Transfers for the month of December, and Personnel.
Public Comment-None
Recognition of Visitors and Correspondence-Team members from Wold/ICS gave updates on their work with the facilities committee.
Reports-Written reports included in the packet for Business Manager, Buildings and Grounds Director, Activities Director, Elementary Principal, and 5-12 Principal. Superintendent Lynk updated the board on initial 4 Day School Week survey results and the application process. Acting Chair Morrison scheduled a work session for February 19 and asked board members to share learnings from the MSBA Leadership Conference.
Business-Reviewed Policies 524, 525, 527, 528, 535 and 807. Approved Policies 511, 526, 613, 704, and 802. Approved annual Resolution Directing the Administration to Make Recommendations for Reductions in Programs and Positions and Reason Thereof. Approved the spring 2025 Senior Class East Coast Trip and spring 2026 Senior Class East Coast Trip. Approved Resolution Accepting Donations/Gifts for January 2025 including $2440 from Atwater Ford for the Piano Lab with the Drive 4 Ur School event.
Board Comments-Morrison thanked the administration for trying to restart The Incredible Year program.C. Buer thanked Morrison for doing a Facebook Live of a basketball game when the livestream went down.
