After school art club will feature participants getting to complete several clay sculpture pieces. You will learn about the process of glazing and painting a piece to completion. Students will learn about the process that goes into completing a sculpture and painting. You will leave with several original works of art.

This class starts right after school in the Jr/Sr High School Art Room.

ACGC Community Education is offering Driver’s Education. We look forward to serving our students. Classroom instruction will be 30 clock hours per state requirement. Mrs. Skoviera will be our classroom instructor. Each session will be 3 hours long with a 15 minute break.

You will learn how to use the pottery wheel if you are a beginner. You can come work on some projects you’ve wanted to do, if you already have experience! We will work with covering the basics on the properties of clay and the transformation it goes through when working on the wheel, to create hand thrown works of art. After two weeks, come back for the second session of this class to glaze your bisque fired pieces to completion. All materials will be provided for you.

You will learn some of the basic skills needed to play softball. We will also play some games. Please bring your own glove.

Parent and Child Together
Come, have fun with your child on a Saturday morning! 
At Open Gym, we will have large and fine motor activities along with plenty of space to let your little ones get out the extra wiggles.

This course is for adults and students who are 12 years old and older.
You may take this course if you will be 12 years old by the end of September 2024. You will not receive your permit until your twelfth birthday.
Students will learn all the basic gun safety, hunting safety, care of your equipment, and hunter ethics. Students will receive firearms permits when the course has been completed and the DNR sends back the permits.
You must be at every class to receive a permit.

Location: Grove City Community Center
Dates:  

• April 14, 15, 16, 19, 21, 22, 23 (last class ends at 8:00). 

• You will be going to the shooting range on Saturday the 19th. 

Time: 7:00 to 9:30pm
